We are so thrilled to work for the first time with the lovely and dearest crew of The Circle Music, and this will be our only release for 2025!
This limited 7″ box is a one of a kind release that reflects our broken spirits, this deep sadness and hard days we are all going through the past year and a half in our bleeding orphaned lands. All those songs that always brought our dearest fans to tears, during our 35 years of career and our endless work and efforts to bring people/enemies together in our impossible reality and daily life.
You will find here new painful versions we had re-recorded for our classic ballade “The Beloved’s Cry”, as well as stripped versions for “Brother” & “Let The Truce Be Known” two of the most important songs from our album “All Is One” left only with Piano, strings, some effects and vocals, and two new brand recordings for some old songs we had decided to cover in these times, one of them “Hagvarim Bochim Balaila” is an old song about PTSD and war trauma, and the last one, “Echzee Banoam”, is a prayer we had re-arranged, just to end this release with some sort of hope we still have in our hearts.
We hope you will find this amazing box to be the right thing in your collection.
With lots of love and hopes.
Orphaned Land
___________________________________
“The Taste of Tears” is a very special release that reflects Orphaned Land’s feelings about all the tragic events taking place in their orphaned lands. It is a great honor that they entrusted us with these songs and we hope that this collaboration will be the starting point for many more beautiful things in the future.
Orphaned Land is a very beloved band of ours and in their long career they have excelled in whatever Metal genre they have been involved in. “The Taste of Tears” is their cry, their sadness, but also the hope that better days may come.
